Today our whole school visited Waipipi School which is situated just past Waiuku. It took us over an hour to get there, but it was a great day!
We got to witness their Calf Club Day and all the amazing activities that happen! There were lots of different animals to pat - sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits.
There was also a lot of learning that the Waipipi kids had done before this day. Students had created artworks, floral arrangements and miniature landscapes.
Some had also created displays to present their projects that they had been working on. This was awesome to see as what they have done is pretty similar to Genius Hour which we are undertaking as part of inquiry learning this term.
We hope we can return the favour and host Waipipi School in the not too distance future!
