We've survived another week of lockdown learning! It's a tricky time for us here in Tamaki Makaurau still being at alert level 4 while the rest of the nation moved to alert level 2 this week. However we are soldiering on and proving how resilient we can be!
For today's writing task we have another opportunity for share your opinion and give us 3 reasons to explain WHY you have that opinion.

DeleteI would rather be a astronaut because if I was out in space I could kind of LIVE in the spaceship. I could also go onto the moon! I could also fly around in space without hitting A BIRD. I would not like to be a deep sea diver because if I was swimming around a shark could come behind me and eat me! If I was in space I could float around and go to the different planets! I could try and take some tree plants and see if they could survive! I could probably go to Mars or Pluto.

I would rather be an astronaut and the biggest reason is very simple. I have the utmost respect for the ocean however, it is probably the one thing that scares me. I can swim but not amazingly well. A deep sea diver would be going into the depths of the ocean and is reliant on oxygen tanks....an astronaut is reliant on oxygen tanks as well but it just seems safer up there than in the depths of the ocean. Plus I love watching Star Trek and other fantasy space shows.

I would rather be a space astronaut because there is so much in space to explore I would'nt like to be a sea diver because I'm scared of the sea and ocean.

ReplyDeleteI would definitely rather be a deep sea diver because I have already done a lot of scuba diving and it is extraordinary! In addition, I am actually terrified by the notion of emptiness, height, or anything immensely big... In other words, floating in space next to huge planets would be my worst nightmare!

Kia ora Paterson Class. Tricky one... I think I'd rather be a deep sea diver as I think it would be slightly easier to get help if something went wrong. Plus I love animals so it would be cool to see some deep sea creatures compared to space where there would be no creatures (unless it turns out aliens are real).
